WE ARE
The Hawthorne Chamber of Commerce has been in existence since the 1920’s, and in continuous operation since 1959 when Robert Hartman was recruited from the Inglewood Chamber to permanently implement this vital arm of the city.
The Mission of the Hawthorne Chamber of Commerce is to act as a spokesperson for the business and professional community, and translate into action the group thinking of its members.
Our goal is to provide members and the business community with opportunities to promote their businesses, and to promote cohesiveness and a sense of belonging within the community.
OUR
WORK
Our work is done primarily through committees, including the Ambassadors, Communications, Economic Development, Government Affairs, Member Services and Special Events committees. Our General Board meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month, at 8:00 am at the Chamber office. All members and individuals interested in becoming involved in our great city are welcome to attend.

Membership in the Chamber is open to both businesses and individuals and offers a great opportunity to become involved in the affairs of Hawthorne. It provides networking opportunities, marketing/promotion information, SCORE business counseling (sponsored by U.S. Small Business Administration), advertising opportunities, referral service, Certificates of Origin, ribbon cutting ceremonies, and information, research, and administrative assistance.
